Hi, My name is Bea!

Bea - Labrador Retriever Terrier Mix For Adoption in Orlando

Looking for a great all-round family dog? You won’t find many better suited to family life than Bea, an adorable Black Lab mix with a heart of gold.

This girl is very smart and very sweet. She loves to cuddle and is very playful. Learning new tricks is one of her favorite things to do.

Bea has been very much loved throughout her life, the cherished pet of a married couple who had lots of time to give her the attention she deserves. Sadly her owner’s husband recently passed away, and Bea is very lonely. Work demands make it very difficult to provide her with the time and attention she deserves, and he realizes that it would be better for Bea to live with a family who can better provide for her needs.

Bea would very much love to have a nice fenced back yard to play in and some great older kids to play with. A family or owner who can spend lots of time with this 40 pound lap dog would be ideal.

Please offer Bea a home today and help bring a happy ending to this sad situation. Bea will absolutely melt your heart. She’s a very special girl.

Bea’s Personality

She’s very smart, playful, energetic, sweet, loves a good cuddle and loves to learn new tricks.

Bea’s Current Home Environment

My home is empty most of the time and I have to keep her crated for that time.

Bea’s Current Family:

My name is Kenneth and I love my dog very much. I am in a very difficult place in my life right now. I have heard on several occasions that I shouldn’t give Bea up because she has already lost someone (my husband) but I can’t give her the home she had and I want to give her something better. Ideally she would go to a family with children or adults who love to play.

Bea’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She is very fond of a pink monkey, she loves to run and be chased, and loves to play with and meet other dogs.

Cute Bea Story:

She hates thunder and one time we, my husband, Bea, and I, were in our living room during a very bad storm. Bea was lying at my husbands feet when there a a huge clap of thunder followed by the lights going out temporarily. When the lights came back on Bea was in my husbands lap shivering just like Shaggy and Scooby Doo.

Why is Bea Being Rehomed?

I would keep her forever but my partner recently passed away and I have a new job that has left me with little time for Bea.

Bea’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Ideally she would go to a family with children or adults who love to play. I have always thought of Bea as more of a country dog. She would be happiest, i think, somewhere with wide open spaces and children and other dogs. She would probably be ecstatic to have two out of three.
