Hi, My name is Lars!

Lars is a gorgeous golden tabby cat with gold eyes to match his gleaming tabby coat. He has very unique markings. This healthy, 6 year old cat is neutered, up to date on his shots and very clean and well-behaved. He uses his litter box religiously, and does not scratch the furniture, preferring to use his scratching post.

Lars has a very affectionate and fun personality. He is playful and gregarious. He loves people and enjoys their company very much. He loves to chase toys and jump. He also loves to curl up beside you and purr sweetly.

Lars?grew up in Turkey, where he was adopted by his owner, who was there in the Military. He was a stray kitten, the only survivor of his litter, and has blossomed into a real beauty – both in looks and personality.

His owner loves Lars?very much. It is with great sadness that she has had to make the choice to find him a new home. Her mother has developed MS, and she must move in to care for her. The situation does not allow for pets. She is dearly hoping to find Lars?the home he needs and deserves ? a home where he will be cherished and cared for for the rest of his days.

Lars’s Personality

Lars is very fun loving. He loves to be pet and to play. He likes a lot of attention. Lars gets along okay with other cats but does not like to play with them a lot. It can take him a little while to get use to other cats. He does not have any behavior issues such as spraying or aggressiveness. As long as he has adequate scratching posts he does not scratch the furniture. He does not like to ride in cars or to be shut in a room. He will claw the carpet if shut in a room. He does not do it as much any more but he will try and go outside. He does not have much experience outside due to living in an apartment.

Lars’s Current Home Environment

Lars currently lives in a small studio apartment with one other adult male cat, whom I also need to re-home.

I am a single female living alone. Lars has had minimal contact with small children.

Lars’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Lars likes toys he can chase. He likes to jump. Lars likes any type of food. He is not fed human food but he will try to eat it sometimes.

Cute Lars Story:

Lars came from Izmir, Turkey. I was there in the military and my landlady gave him to me. ?He was the only one to survive out of his brothers and sisters, due to them remaining outside cats. Lars is very sweet and loves to curl up next to you to sleep.

Why is Lars Being Rehomed?

I am moving to help care for my mother who has multiple sclerosis. It breaks my heart to get rid of him but I will be unable to have them at my mother’s house.
