Senior Cats For Adoption Philadelphia 3

Meet Pumpkin!

Pumpkin (female) is looking for a loving forever home with a quiet single or couple family.

I am a very well-behaved, indoor, Domestic Short Hair cat with plenty of love and affection to give. I am very healthy, spayed, litter-trained and up-to-date on my shots. In fact, since I?m 12 years old, I had a complete blood panel done in Oct 2014, and doctor said I’m in perfect health and good-to-go to my new forever home.

I?m looking for a safe, quiet, forever home with a single cat-lover or couple would be ideal for me with no other pets in the home. I have a very outgoing personality with a lot ?pep? in my step, and love to curl up next to you. I also like to greet you at the door when you come home! I have been called “the friendliest cat ever seen” by many people who have met me, because I like to come right up to you for ?pets? and ?head-butts?.

The current owner adopted Pumpkin as kitten and has poured so much love and attention into her over her that it shows in Pumpkin?s affectionate and friendly behavior. Pumpkin has received pristine care and is loved very much. Unfortunately, due to the owner?s nomadic and constant away-from-home travel for work, she is no longer able to provide a consistent, stable home environment for Pumpkin.

If you would like to open your heart and home to me, I promise to add immeasurable joy, love and companionship to your life. I will bring with me all of my belongings, 2 cat carriers, 1 pet bed, water/food bowls, lots of toys, and litter box.
I can?t wait to purr my way into your heart and home ? Pumpkin xoxox

Pumpkins Personality

Pumpkin is the girl and she is outgoing and adventurous, even at 11 years she is still active, runs around the house, picks on her brother Pinochle sometimes (all in fun, she just wants to play with him). She is a very cool cat and friendly.

Pumpkins Current Home Environment

Quite! No children, other pets, or ruckus. I work from home so I’m with them all day long.

Pumpkins Current Family:

I’m there family, single with other family members living in the home.

Pumpkins Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Toys: Laser, feather toys, balls
Food: Dry and wet RX food. They don’t like treats and have never had “people food”
Activities: Sleeping, curling up next to someone, playing with toys, getting brushed

Cute Pumpkin Story:

Pumpkin eats her dry food in a unique way – she scoops out with her paw one kibble of food at a time and eats it and if one of the kibble happens to roll away she’ll go find it.

Pumpkin is also my office assistant, I work from home on the computer and every morning when I fire up my computer Pumpkin jumps up on desk and lays right by keyboard and she can stay there for hours while I’m typing away.

Can’t forget how much Pumpkin loves “head-butting” with me 🙂 Head-butting is the cat’s way of showing affection.

I used to live in the country and had a very large deck the cats would hang out on. Every so often a large insect would make it’s way on the deck and the cats would catch the insect and bring it in the house all proud like it just caught a mouse.

Why is?Pumpkin Being Rehomed?

My life is about to become very nomadic and I will be traveling and living in different cities throughout the year for years to come. It will not be fair to the cats to have to move them from place to place or leave them with a cat sitter for months on end. I have no family members that can help take care of the cats long term. They need to be with a stable family and I want that for them.

Pumpkins Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A quiet home, she?will not do well with a lot of ruckus – small children, other pets. She is?just not used to that level of activity in the home.

The ideal home would be in a quiet home, with a family that loves cats and gives?her?lots of attention and love.

A stable home, not a lot of moving around. She?must be indoor cat.
