Dear Cat Lovers,
I am in a very difficult situation – I am plagued by DOGS! My house is overrun with the things, and I just don’t like it. They drool, they jump and they bark. They have even eaten my food when I was not watching!
I am a great cat, but would very much prefer to be in the company of a nice cat lady (or man) who understands me, and can give me the quiet, serene environment that I need and deserve.
I am very handsome, with a long, silky black coat and mesmerizing green eyes. I am a great companion and don’t require a lot of attention. I do like to be petted, and I like to play with feather toys. Right now my life is canine chaos, and I am really hoping to find a way out! I am always feeling stressed out, and just can’t be myself with these growlers around.
I will be rehomed with all my belongings; my litter box, Cat Genie and carrier.
I am healthy, neutered, and up to date on my shots. Please offer me a cat-friendly home. Let’s curl up and do some bird watching together!

Sylvester’s Personality
Friendly at times. Independent. Likes to be pet in short increments. We feel he would want to be the only pet in the family.
Sylvester’s Current Home Environment
We have 2 large dogs and 1 small dog. We think Sylvester does not like being in an environment with dogs or maybe large dogs. He might be good with 1 other small dog.
Sylvester’s Current Family:
We are a family of four. We have 2 teen age daughters. Very active. We have a large yard. We do not travel a lot but when we do we have someone come to the house to stay with the animals.
Sylvester’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Sylvester does not have a favorite toys. He eats Natural Choice adult indoor cat food. He will eat a small amount of cream cheese with a pill in it. Otherwise he doesn’t like cat treats. We have tried giving him some. He does like to run in the hall trying to get a feather toy.
Cute Sylvester Story:
When we first choice Sylvester from the humane society we were told he was a female so we named him Sophia. As we were leaving the shelter with him the gentleman whispered to us that you know it is a male. So at the last minute we changed his name to Sylvester.
Why is Sylvester Being Rehomed?
We feel he is not happy with being in a house with dogs. To be honest he has accidents on the rug and seems not to be happy. We have tried to give him natural treats to help with anxiety and to be more friendly but it hasn’t worked.
Sylvester’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Probably a family that is more cat knowledgeable and does not have dogs.
