Bowser’s Personality

He’s very very energetic and playful. He’s loves attention and is very attentive in return. He’s very smart and curious about everything.

Bowser’s Current Home Environment

Small apartment on the second floor. Bowser has only been leash walked by us and eats Blue Buffalo

Bowser’s Current Family:

My wife and I have Bowser, a Rottweiler, a Boxer, a Chihuahua, and three cats in a 900 square foot apartment.

Bowser’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Bowser likes to nurse on blankets and sheets. He eats Blue Buffalo large breed dog food. He loves to run out in the open, though he hasn’t caught on to fetch just yet.

Cute Bowser Story:

We found Bowser running around our apartment complex in the rain. We went down to get him and bring him in for a meal and the poor guy was soaked and starved. He had tags and a shock collar on and my wife and I were sorry to see that as he got along well with our other pups. The way Bowser and the other dogs played and socialized, we knew he’d make a great addition to any family, and we were sorry to see that it wouldn’t be ours. Low and behold, the tags he had on weren’t his and the contact information was bad. When we found out that he wasn’t actually owned by anyone, we took everyone to the puppy park to celebrate adding him to our home.

Why is Bowser Being Rehomed?

After about a month, Bowser decided that our male Rottweiler was a threat and began to attack him. Our apartment is too small to segregate Bowser and our Rottweiler, so we are trying to find a home that is a better fit for him. Preferably a home without large male dogs.

Bowser’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Bowser is a wonderful pup and deserves a family that will really appreciate how much he cares for them. Anyone that is willing to give him the love and attention he craves is exactly what we want.

Additional Comments:

As he was a stray just a few months ago, he hasn’t gotten used to his name or many of the other commands one might expect of a house dog. He will require a bit of training, though he’s very smart. He is kennel trained and we are still working on propper house training, though he’s not mastered it yet.
