Hi, My name is Honey!

Wirehaired Vizsla For Adoption in San Diego

I am a Honey/wirehaired Female Wirehaired Vizsla Dog. I am 6 and weigh medium/42lbs. I live in San Diego, ca.

Honey is a very loving ,eager to please dog. She definitely fits the description of a Vizsla being a “Velcro” dog. She loves being around her family, wherever you are she isn’t that far behind you. She is definitely a ” hunting dog” so she isn’t good around cats, rodents of any kind. She gets along with other dogs but probably not puppies that will jump all over her or bark in her face.
She LOVES to run, run, run so she needs a yard and a family that will be dedicated on taking her out everyday. She also good around children but probably not little ones because she does have a lot of energy. She is an indoor dog but does like to sunbathe. She will bark at someone at the door but once they’re let in and she gets use to them she stops. She also loves to lay and relax right by you, basically she’ll want to be where you are.

Honey’s Current Home Environment

I live in a condo with no real back yard. My place is definitely way to small for a Vizsla with tons if energy.

Honey’s Current Family:

It’s just myself and my 20 yr.old daughter. She is never home, she’s in and out a lot.I have had 2 failed back surgeries so I’m in constant pain and am unable to take Honey out for walks/ run because of my pain, and I don’t have the money to pay someone to walk her everyday.

Honey’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She isn’t a big toy lover she is good at ripping them apart though so its good to get her toys that she won’t be able to tear apart.
She loves tug a war and is very strong. I have never been able to get her to drop a ball, she will fetch it and bring it back but getting her to drop it I was never able to get her to do it.
Her favorite thing to do is go for walks and taken somewhere where she can run.

Cute Honey Story:

She is just a loving dog who needs a outgoing family and someone who is willing to give her tons of attention and love, she will give you tons of love back.

Why is Honey Being Rehomed?

I am unable to give her the exercise she needs due to my back problems. She needs someone with an active life and the time to get her out of the house to let her run.

Honey’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I’m looking for a family that is going to love her like she is s member of their family. Someone who wants a loving companion.
